No Longer PerPLEXed: True Spatial Multiomics Is Here
Webinar | Feb 17, 2023 | 8AM PT | 11AM ET | 5PM CET
The mechanisms mediating lymph node metastasis have remained largely unclear until the emergence of spatial analysis. Spatial biology analysis technologies such as Akoya’s PhenoCycler®-Fusion have played a critical role in understanding key cellular interactions involved in lymph node metastasis, disease progression, and tissue organization. In this on-demand webinar, the speakers will discuss how PhenoCycler-Fusion enables fast, single-cell multiplexed imaging of 100+ antibodies as well as 100+ RNA molecules across whole-slide FFPE samples collected from a large cohort of patients with primary tumor, lymph nodes with metastasis and controls. Ultrahigh-plex protein and RNA analysis facilitated the discovery of critical cell-cell interactions and molecular cues necessary for further metastasis. In addition, the ability to measure both protein and RNA targets in a scalable manner across entire tissue sections makes any spatial biology question accessible.
In this GEN webinar, Dr. Garry Nolan, professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine, and Dr. Julia Kennedy-Darling, vice president of innovation at Akoya Biosciences, will define how true multiomic panels are enabling the discovery of key cellular niches. During this event, you will hear how the PhenoCycler-Fusion platform enables rapid, unbiased spatial phenotyping of whole FFPE slides to detect protein targets, RNA targets, or a combination of both across the same tissue. Moreover, our presenters will describe the key factors associated with environmental-conditioned metastasis and how true multiomic panels can define hot and cold tumors.
